The Sourcing Execution Team Lead will work as a key member of the Procurement Team within Accenture's Sourcing & Category Management organization. This position will be responsible for sourcing various services& goods under different practices (CPS, IT, Manufacturing, Marketing, Travel) for a range of clients with a focus on effective bidding of contracts and overall risk management. The Sourcing Specialist should be well versed in the procurement of services/products in multiple areas of above mentioned practices and excel at providing this service for clients. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, RFP development, market assessment, risk management, strategy development, contract negotiation, contract management, and product management. This role will also include management of multiple resources within the Sourcing Execution Team.

 

This will be your future role:


Sourcing:

  • Design and implement cost savings projects across multiple practices
  • Facilitate documents and forms to complete supplier evaluations and contracting
  • Engage with customers’ senior management team members to drive and communicate progress
  • Perform total cost of ownership evaluations, perform supply-market research and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis for the pursuit of continuous cost improvements
  • Work collaboratively with suppliers and customer stakeholders to identify and execute continuous cost and performance improvement strategies
  • Document savings achieved from sourcing projects

Team Management:

  • Coach and develop app. 15 team members in their performance and professional development
  • Measure team workload and performance to achieve contracted savings targets
  • Manage and lead multiple individuals at different career levels.
  • Facilitate trainings for team members

Travel:

  • Travel could be 10-15% in this role within Europe

This is what you already have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration or international business management or equivalent
  • Procurement experience
  • Exceptional project management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to manage multiple end-to-end acquisition project cycles
  • Experience in Online Auctions, Low Complexity Sourcing Project / Process
  • Strong work ethic, high motivation and the ability to challenge the status-quo
  • Significant proven competency in contracting/negotiation processes and best practices
  • Solid understanding of and experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Process oriented with excellent communication, organization/time management and problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable management style to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers
  • Knowledge of procurement operations
  • Ability to manage multiple resources who are at different experience and career levels
  • Potential to improve upon existing process and bring new ideas to the team
  • Proficiency to mentor and train resources on existing and new processes
