Job Description

This Web Marketing Manager position will be responsible for driving web strategy for custom experiences aligned to Industry and the Azure Brand, support on annual planning, and take on cross site projects as requested. This role will work with Product Marketing Managers (PMMs) and Brand Managers to plan, launch, and enhance the site experience for the assigned area of the business. 


Role Activities 

  • Create web experience strategies and manage execution for moments, launches and campaigns. 

  • Interact with business stakeholders to obtain, clarify, and verify requirements for projects. 

  • Use site metrics, customer data, third party research and other sources inform grounded and insightful web experience briefs. 

  • Manage UX testing as needed including defining audience screeners, writing research briefs, and managing research vendors and stakeholders through the process. 

  • Collaborate with product marketing and engineering to deliver on defined strategies that create improved leads, trials and engagement metrics 

  • Define and track success metrics in order to deliver on key site goals and provide post-launch evaluation. 

  • Participate in fiscal planning, providing fresh perspective and helping align teams.

  • Recommend best practices for page content, layout, and design for campaigns

What does it take to be successful in this role?  

  • Self-starter with experience developing effective customer journeys and web strategy 

  • Ability to think strategically, execute effectively, work under deadline pressure across multiple projects 

  • Creative thinker that can represent the customer point of view and drive quality experiences 

  • Excellent communication with ability to create convincing recommendations and presentations 

  • General comfort in reporting data on digital experiences 

  • Ability to use the site performance tools 

  • Adobe Analytics - used frequently; Current dashboards pull data from Adobe, but knowing how to navigate the tool is key 

  • PowerBI - dashboards that pull site data from Adobe Analytics 

  • Clicktale  heat map and customer journey tool  

  • – UX survey tool to gain customer feedback  

  • Working knowledge of Azure Dev Ops (ADO) tool used to project manage work
