LITIGATION TEAM – JOB DESCRIPTION (JD)

Level 9 (JD)

 

         Supervise lower levels or coordinate small working teams for specific projects, assist GLN Leads in the coordination of the team and collaborate with other colleagues, coordinators, stakeholders and leadership and perform other duties as required.

 

         Get acquainted to the outside counsel tool by submitting new requests for demand management and revision of budgets for existing matters.

 

         Manage court calendar, budgets and invoice payments. Liaise with procurement, the T360 team and external counsels to ensure that invoices are issued on time, that the proper steps have been followed and that payment has been undertaken.

 

         Understand the ecosystem of each project and the various players, their roles and input. Develop an understanding of the roles of our internal clients, the roles of the function we support (such as legal, CM, CFM, QA, Controllership, etc.), and the role of the different functions within a project (PMO, delivery, solution architect, etc.) as well as the different phases of a proposal and then the project.

 

         Prepare contract dashboards, which are shared with the business to give them an overview of the key contractual clauses such as change of requests, events of default, termination, liabilities, jurisdiction etc.

 

         Review and comment on settlement agreements and notices of breach.

 

         Review subcontractors’ obligations and comparing them with Accenture’s obligations in order to identify the relevant gaps between the sets of obligations.

 

         Liaise with the respective CM team and the business and extract as much information as possible from them and understand how to organize the input received from them in order to meet their needs.

 

         Explain the potential risks and liabilities of early termination to the business where and when needed. Help in minimizing the risk to the company.

 

         Assist the business in identifying the variance between the actual and contractually agreed scope of work.
