Job Summary


  • People Mobility is a service delivery function within Accenture which provides end-to-end support to our employees traveling or transferring on any cross-border, people mobility policy. 
  • The Cross Border Finance Senior Analyst within People Mobility is responsible for the high quality delivery of Accounting Services in connection with all Accenture cross border finance policies, to determine the financial implications of Accenture’s tax equalization policy for personnel on cross border assignments


Key Responsibilities


Value Creator


  • Make suggestions / participate in process improvements & development of support tools affecting cross border accounting
  • Proactively identify & escalate important issues or provide recommendation for changes to the Cross Border Finance EALA Lead.
  • Assist with supervisor and team lead on internal project/initiatives as requested


Business Operator


  • Complete the true up of actual tax costs to accruals on a per person basis once all home and host matters are complete
  •  Maintain Cross Border Account Reconciliations and resolve issues encountered
  • Review and process monthly Inpatriate Tax Accruals based on the tax cost estimates report sent from host RMS
  • Assist with the resolution of queries from host countries relating to hypothetical tax collected
  • Complete Cross Border Finance Quarterly Balance Sheet Review
  •  Maintain the global cross border finance database (GTF) for the country and ensure all data are mapped and recorded correctly in GTF
  • Maintenance and update of work instructions, process manuals and training materials for CBF EALA team.
  • Assist with developing standard procedures to enable finance service delivery
  • Monitor processes to achieve standards and targets within SLA; ensuring compliance with procedures and policy
  • Assist CBF EALA Lead to plan and execute special projects relating to cross border accounting and strategic finance initiatives
  • Work closely with CBF EALA Lead to develop management and ad-hoc reporting to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements

  • Deliver trainings to team members
  • Participate in the knowledge exchange and operation review
  • Develop understanding of the internal systems and Accenture's global policies as applicable to Cross Border Finance
  • Contribute to a positive work environment; be a role model for cross-teaming

Qualifications and experience




·         University degree or equivalent higher education qualification

·         Recommended Certifications, Licenses, etc:  ACCA, CPA or equivalent preferred




·         Financial and Accounting Operations; Financial Analysis; General Ledger; Month End / Year End Processing; Balance Sheets; Journal Entries

·         Good awareness of U.S. GAAP principles, Sarbox,

·         Proficiency with standard Microsoft applications (excel, word, PowerPoint) plus job specific tools (Siebel, SAP, GTF)

·         Strong written and oral communication, relationship/stakeholder management and customer service skills

  • Self-starter. Excellent organizational, time management/project management skills and leadership skill


Work Experience

  •  3+ years experiences in an Accounting function
  • Good knowledge of Internal controls, US GAAP (experience with cross-border finance/People Mobility is preferred)
