Security Operations Center Incident Manager
The Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager serves as the deputy to the SOC Senior Manager and provides operational and strategic leadership within Accenture’s Global Security Operations Centers organization. This role is responsible for ensuring performance and consistency across the three core ASOC pillars: Threat Monitoring, Building Monitoring and Alarms, and ASOC Calls. The SOC Manager also serves as the primary Travel Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the ASOC, helping ensure Accenture travelers in high-risk destinations are supported.
This position is based in Pune, India and reports directly to the SOC Senior Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead response efforts for complex, high-impact incidents affecting Accenture employees, travelers, facilities, and global business operations to include notify, assist and direct external emergency personnel and internal resources as necessary.
- Manage threat monitoring involving extreme weather, geopolitical instability, crime, terrorism, civil unrest, medical emergencies, and travel-related disruptions.
- Ensure threat monitoring is assessed, escalated, coordinated, and communicated in alignment with the GP&S Escalation Model and SOC Standard Operating Procedures.
- Liaise with SOC stakeholders such as Regional Protective Services, Executive Protection/Events, and Intelligence to ensure threat monitoring triggers meet their organizational needs.
- Establish and enforce standards for high-quality writing across ASOC products.
- Maintain situational awareness of high-risk travel regions and ensure delivery of timely alerts and advisories to traveling employees and stakeholders, including Mobility and Human Resources.
- Provide operational oversight and decision-making during active incidents to ensure timely, accurate, and effective outcomes.
- Act as a trusted operational partner to GP&S stakeholders and regional security leadership.
- Responsible for training SOC personnel to ensure competency and readiness when supporting GP&S in incident and incident response activities.
- Conduct thorough After-Action Reviews (AARs) after an incident and document areas of improvement and track SOC action items through completion.
- Conduct regular SOP reviews and updates to ensure policies and instructions provide up-to-date and clear guidance to enable an efficient response by SOC personnel.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work outside of business hours on short notice during critical events to include, nights, weekends, and or holidays.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in military, law enforcement, intelligence, or corporate security environments supporting security incident monitoring, communications, and response.
Preferred Skills

- Strong writing skills and experience preparing communications to be shared with senior stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing high stress and impactful incidents.
- Experienced and independent communicator, both verbal and written.
- Experience with emergency response protocols and processes.
- Bilingual (languages in addition to English).
- Experience with threat monitoring and emergency communication tools such as Factal, SamDesk, Everbridge, ISOS, etc.
- Experience with CCure, Genetec or Sureview.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.
