Internship Details 

  • Period: 4 – 6 months 

  • Hours per week: 32 - 40 

  • Location: Hybrid (ITO office, Amsterdam and work from home) 

  • Start date: September 2026

Team  
As a Research Intern, you’ll become part of our Marketing Advisory team within the Marketing capability. A team of strategists, thinkers and problem-solvers who help clients rethink and improve their marketing and customer experience capabilities. 

You’ll work alongside experienced consultants, get exposure to real client challenges, and contribute to projects that shape the future of marketing. At the same time, your thesis remains your main priority and we’ll actively support you throughout the journey.  

Daily Tasks  
On a daily basis,depending on available projects the following can be expected: 

  • Write your thesis,with support from experienced consultants in our team 

  • Research trends in digital marketing, customer experience and personalization 

  • [optional] Support maturity assessments and benchmarking analyses for clients 

  • [optional] Assist in developing insights that contribute to transformation strategies and roadmaps 

  • [optional] Help structure and analyze data to support decision-making 

  • [optional] Contribute to presentations, reports, and client deliverables 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (strategy, data, technology) to explore innovative solutions 

  • Present your findings to internal stakeholders and the broader team 

  • [optional] Gain hands-on experience as a consultant within Accenture Song

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU  

We expect the following qualifications and qualifications from an intern thesis:  

  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree (e.g. Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Data/Analytics, or a technical field with business interest) 

  • Strong analytical mindset and interest in data-driven decision making 

  • Curious about digital marketing, customer experience, and technology 

  • Comfortable working with data, research methods, and structured problem solving 

  • Strong communication skills and ability to clearly present ideas 

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment 

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 

  • Proficiency in English and Dutch (C1) 

  • Curiosity to develop yourself further 

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM US

Song Talent Factory (STF)  
As part of your internship, you will also take part in Song Talent Factory. This program will be leading you through your path at Accenture Song and will provide additional engagements/activities/projects to enhance your intern experience. 

Being part of the Song Talent Factory, you will: 

  • Get professional guidance on finding the next step in your career; 

  • Get expert support on your thesis topic while leveraging all Accenture resources; 

  • Be part of one Song program where you are required to collaborate with other interns at Accenture Song from our different offerings (AI & Data,Commerce, Design & Digital Product Creation, Service and Marketing); 

  • Work on a large, internship-long consulting project together with your STF group. This will allow you to not just get a glimpse of one of the four capabilities, but you will really get to see everything Accenture Song has to offer; 

  • Be part of the Accenture Song community through companywide and intern specific engagement events 

  • Enjoy the wide variety of training opportunities;
