The work
Kick-start your career in our Consulting Development Program–style environment (CFO & Enterprise Value alignment) to build leading consulting and digital finance skills through diverse project experiences across industries. You will:

Work closely with clients to understand how their business operates today, with a focus on the office of the CFO and finance/accounting organizations at leading companies.

Identify opportunities to improve end-to-end finance processes (e.g., procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report), translating pain points into structured problem statements, insights, and actionable recommendations.

Support digital finance transformation by contributing to initiatives across intelligent automation/RPA, analytics, and targeted finance solutions (e.g., planning, close, controls, and reporting enablement).

Help implement Cloud ERP and enterprise value solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) by supporting requirements gathering, high-level design documentation, testing approaches, and golive readiness activities.

Apply data and analytics to “read the story behind the numbers,” using structured analysis to inform decisions, shape client narratives, and measure outcomes.

Support project delivery by tracking status, timelines, risks/issues, costs, and dependencies—helping teams deliver on commitments with quality.

Contribute to client workshops by preparing materials, facilitating working sessions, documenting decisions, and supporting change adoption through clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
Work location: This role may include a mix of working remotely and working onsite with our clients/partners or in our offices/delivery centers to enable delivery and cultivate client relationships. You should expect some in-person time for collaboration, learning, and relationship-building with clients, peers, leaders, and communities.
What you’ll need

1–2 years of relevant experience (internship, coop, or fulltime) in finance/accounting, finance transformation, controllership, FP&A, audit, or shared services.

Must be currently in process to complete the CPA designation. Already enrolled in CPA PEP and/or have registered for or recently completed the CFE.

Recently graduated (or soon to graduate) from a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or a related field (e.g., accounting & financial management, financial risk management, mathematics, or similar).

Comfortable analyzing information from multiple angles and presenting to groups (e.g., leading/facilitating workshops, sharing findings, storytelling with data).

Familiarity with business process analysis (particularly core finance and accounting processes), organizational strategy, and project management, plus a strong interest in technology and how it enables finance transformation.

Ability to adjust quickly in changing environments; collaborate effectively; seek answers, drive solutions, follow through on commitments, and know when to ask for help.
Bonus points if you have

Exposure to ERP or finance platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and/or digital finance tools (e.g., Anaplan, BlackLine, etc.).

Familiarity with automation and analytics concepts/tools (e.g., RPA, process improvement, visualization, advanced Excel/Power BI).

Interest or exposure to machine learning/AI use cases in finance, including how intelligent automation and AI can improve efficiency, controls, and decision support.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
