You Are

You are passionate about security and thrive on staying one step ahead of emerging threats. You bring deep experience assessing client security postures, anticipating security requirements, and designing right‑sized, practical solutions grounded in industry‑leading practices. You have a proven track record of leading teams in fast‑paced, collaborative environments and are comfortable engaging both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

You are a creative and analytical problem solver with strong documentation and communication skills. You apply deep security expertise to design, build, and protect enterprise platforms, applications, data, and identities for Accenture and our clients. You are eager to lead, mentor, and influence—helping clients embed security by design as they modernize and transform their SAP landscapes.

The Work

As an Onshore Security Lead within Accenture’s Platform Security Practice, you will lead the delivery of SAP security programs for public and private sector clients as they modernize, scale, and innovate. You will manage complex security initiatives, oversee multi‑disciplinary teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

Leadership & Delivery

  • Manage end‑to‑end delivery of SAP security transformation initiatives, including S/4HANA upgrades, greenfield implementations, cloud integrations, and security hardening

  • Lead one or more SAP security workstreams or projects, ensuring quality, value, and adherence to timelines and budgets

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders on SAP security matters

  • Drive delivery governance, quality assurance, and risk mitigation across onshore and distributed delivery teams

SAP Security & Risk Management

  • Assess, design, and implement SAP security controls across user and role design, IAM, SAP GRC Access Controls, and segregation of duties

  • Govern and remediate SAP security risks using automation, analytics, and leading practices

  • Define security requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions

  • Oversee compliance initiatives related to regulatory, audit, and privacy requirements

Client & Practice Growth

  • Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with clients, clearly articulating security risks, priorities, and strategies in business terms

  • Support security sales efforts, proposals, and solution shaping within the SAP domain

  • Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, asset development, and capability building

  • Coach, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance

What You’ll Need

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience delivering SAP security solutions (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP GRC, SAP Cloud)
  • Demonstrated success leading SAP security projects or multi‑disciplinary delivery teams
  • Strong expertise in SAP security frameworks, access controls, IAM, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience working with clients in highly regulated environments (public sector or government preferred)
  • Proven project management experience, including planning, budgeting, and risk management
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills
  • Must be in possession of Secret Clearance status

Bonus Points If You Have

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP GRC Access Controls, SAP Identity Management, and related security tooling
  • Experience securing SAP environments in cloud and hybrid platforms (SAP BTP, Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Background supporting sales pursuits or proposal development for ERP or platform security solutions
  • Retail industry experience (SAP CAR, SAP Retail)
  • Bilingual in English and French


Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.

The base pay range shown below is intended as a guideline to reflect the majority of offers for this role.
It does not represent a maximum limit — in some cases, actual compensation may exceed the range where appropriate.
