Electrical Engineer Intern (Automation)
At Industry X, we are committed to offering extensive training and effective integration for our interns. Through our academy program, developed specifically for the automation team and guided by our experienced colleagues, you'll gain valuable knowledge that will empower you to confidently contribute to any of our projects. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to select a thesis topic and can provide an external consultant if needed.
In this position after completing the training, you will be also responsible for:
- PLC programming in the most recently used technology-dependent programming languages
- Configuring of PLCs and other industrial devices following the client specifications
- Supporting SCADA/HMI specific solutions
- Virtual commissioning for validation of PLC/SCADA solutions
- Using 3rd party tools for testing and commissioning
- Professional insight to configuring industrial networks, or IoT networks
- Understanding client factory infrastructure and developing OT integration solution
- Adopting standard programming concepts and implementing clean code best practices.
Required skills:
- Ongoing electrical engineering studies
- Basic PLC programming skills
- Confident English and Hungarian knowledge
- Strong troubleshooting mindset
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Open for international business travel
- Able to work minimum 20 hours/week
Nice to have:
- German language knowledge
- General understanding of industrial control systems and IoT solutions
- Python
