Project Role Description : Ensure solution quality by executing manual tests against defined requirements, user stories, and expected behavior. Design test cases, identify and document defects, and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure reliable, user-ready releases.

Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Functional Tester with over 12 years of expertise in the payments domain.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring end-to-end quality of complex payment workflows, with a strong focus on ISO 20022 standards and SEPA processes.
Key Responsibilities
QA Leadership - Drive and enhance QA practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Test Design - Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases and scenarios
Test Execution - Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT across UI and API layers
Defect Management - Identify, log, and track defects collaborate with developers and analysts for resolution
Traceability and Coverage - Ensure complete test coverage using Jira and Zephyr Scale
Stakeholder Collaboration - Align testing efforts with business, compliance, and regulatory requirements
Technical Skills
Manual Testing - Strong experience in test case design and execution
API Testing - Hands on with Postman and SOAP UI
Test Management Tools - Jira and Zephyr Scale
Database Skills - Basic to intermediate SQL for data validation
Version Control - Familiarity with Git or SVN
Must Have
Experience in the Payments domain (SEPA, ISO 20022, SWIFT, MT to MX migration).
Strong familiarity with ISO20022 message formats (PAIN, PACS, CAMT).
In-depth knowledge of SEPA flows, including SEPA Credit Transfer (SCT) and Instant Payments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Payments Fundamentals.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
