Project Role Description : Leads a team of quality engineers through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Applies business and functional knowledge to develop end-to-end testing strategies through the use of quality processes and methodologies. Applies testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires applying comprehensive business and functional insights to design and implement thorough testing strategies. Throughout the day, the lead oversees the execution of testing processes, monitors key performance indicators, and ensures effective resolution of defects, all while fostering collaboration across teams to achieve seamless quality assurance outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Mentor and support junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders to align quality objectives with business goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva CRM.
- Strong expertise in designing and implementing comprehensive testing strategies across software development lifecycles.
- Experience in applying quality assurance methodologies and best practices to ensure product reliability.
- Ability to define and track key quality metrics to monitor testing progress and outcomes.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams to integrate testing activities within complex ecosystems.
- Proficient in defect management processes and tools to ensure timely resolution and reporting.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Veeva CRM.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
