Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, development, and configuration of specialized applications. This role requires taking ownership of the project s technical aspects and serving as the main liaison for stakeholders. The position demands proactive engagement in coordinating efforts to ensure the application meets business needs while maintaining alignment with overall project goals. Collaboration with various teams to integrate solutions and troubleshoot challenges is a key part of daily activities, fostering a dynamic and solution-oriented work environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software components by following best practices and standards.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance to support their professional growth.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing applications to enhance performance and user experience.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts and their application within SAP IBP.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP IBP modules to meet specific business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP IBP and other enterprise systems.
- Good problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering scalable and maintainable solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
