The Threat Vulnerability and Firewall Administrator (TV&F Admin) is responsible for creating and delivering high-quality information security solutions that address the ever-growing need for companies to secure their business critical assets, data, and resources. TV&F Admins are also expected to lead and deliver security engagements autonomously while providing oversight and coaching for junior resources. TV&F Admins are also expected to work collaboratively with offshore delivery center testing personnel and be proficient on both a technical and inter-personal level while interfacing with clients. 

The TV&F Admin is expected to proficiently execute the following: 
Assess and create firewall rules across various vendors and platforms 
Internal/external vulnerability assessments 
Assess clients’ network security posture through the use of automated tools and manual techniques to identify and verify common security vulnerabilities
Use creative approaches to identify vulnerabilities that are commonly missed in security assessments (Windows/Unix Based, Firewalls, Routers, Servers, etc)
Application Testing (Web, IOT, Hardware, etc…)
Exploit SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting, Parameter Manipulation, Session Hijacking, etc)
Exploit vulnerabilities and identify specific, meaningful risks to clients based on industry and business focus
Create comprehensive assessment reports that clearly identify root cause and remediation strategies
Communicate strengths and weaknesses to the client or internal project management team and develop effective solutions.
Troubleshoot RSA Token connectivity, as well as User/Group troubleshooting. License management
Address and implement appropriate actions for vulnerabilities identified within the infrastructure
Understand and assist in the remediation vulnerabilities identified in Infrastructure and Application scanning 
Work with Threat and Vulnerability Management teams on adhoc scan requests for application or code scanning.
Improve methodologies, toolsets and offerings through collaborative development work and by updating team documentation


Basic skills/qualifications
Must have deep experience assessing and creating firewall rules across various vendors and platforms (Cisco Firepower, McAfee Sidewinder,  NSG, NVA..)
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of FirePower Management Console 
Well versed in Networking in general with spefic knowledge of Azure (Cloud)
Minimum of 3 years of IT Security Testing (e.g. web application security assessments, vulnerability assessments and technical security assessments 
Minimum of 3 years of server, application and network security hardening experience (e.g., design, recommend and implementation of security hardening technical controls) 
Minimum of 3 years of technical writing and report generation 
Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in professional setting; either military or civilian  

Preferred skills/qualifications
Current, valid government security clearance 
Bachelor's Degree
Industry recognized certification in security (e.g., CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH)  
Knowledge of enterprise IT security risk assessments and related frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000 series, COBIT, IT General Controls, etc.)
Prior external-facing client services experience
Preferred experience with CyberArk IBV and Privileged Identity Management (PAM)
Travel 100% (Not necessary to be on site full time)
