Program Specialist Services professionals provide project-based support services within centers. These professionals support the delivery and execution of our key projects with specialized services.
The Business Operations Senior Manager works cooperatively to enable the execution of delivery or product work by creating, implementing and managing a program office function. Engage key stakeholders and participate them on monitoring and reporting progress. May have responsibilities for the financial and operational management. Wide latitude in decision making and determination of objectives and approaches to critical assignments. Manage large complex teams and /or work efforts ensuring high levels of quality
Job Description
  • Work with Commercial and Account Leadership in order to:
    • Deliver consistent, predictable results
    • Meet or exceed Accenture’s deal economics through rigorous adherence to commercial disciplines and processes
    • Enforce disciplined and proficient management of the commercial aspects of Accenture’s contracts to safeguard it’s revenues, profits and reputation
    • Focus on all elements of account lifecycle including Sell (FY planning, sales support), Manage (resource enablement, finance tracking and reporting/KPI’s, quality and tool management, etc.) and Deliver
  •  Assist commercial and/or account leadership in communicating and executing the commercial vision for the account.
·         Participate in, and lead portions of the design, implementation and execution of account-level policies, procedures and standards to ensure smooth and controlled management of the account and delivery of services.
·         Ensure ongoing consistent adherence to commercial processes, procedures and standards, and manage issue and risk reporting on non-compliance to standards with commercial and account leadership.
·         Provide detailed complex analyses, metrics, and reporting as requested to report on the “state of the account.” This may include but is not limited to: financial analyses, process compliance, staffing analyses, internal controls compliance, and others.
·         Provide general low to high complexity project management services in organizing, planning and facilitating account meetings, report outs, quality audits/reviews, etc. Supports commercial and account leadership in managing a fully integrated commercial operations team.
·         Participate in continuous process and business operations improvement initiatives at the account level within assigned scope of responsibility.
·         Assist account and delivery leadership in specific initiatives aimed at delivering successfully against the contract and client expectations.
·         Assist in preparation for commercial contract negotiations by coordinating preparation of materials, organizing human and physical resources, and other activities as needed.
·         If applicable, manage relationships with appropriate client teams (ex:  Sourcing and Procurement) typically at the manager/senior manager level.
·         Lead/contribute to/participate in NA Commercial Operations organizations’ key initiatives and/or special projects.
·         Mentor NA Commercial Operations resources (both within account teams and within NA Commercial Operations organization).

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of operational or related commercial management experience, ideally having medium to high exposure to or done work in all four pillars of commercial management
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing medium or large complexity projects (including project planning, management, reporting, communications, issue resolution) involving one or more functional areas, work streams, or other units
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to establish credibility as a member of the account management team and with other internal stakeholders in order to cultivate and maintain trust and mutual respect
  • Ability to understand the commercial issues within the area(s) of accountability, prioritize accordingly, and ensure follow through and frequent communication with relevant stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate daily activities of multiple work streams, focused on issue resolution, while being an effective communicator and project manager
  • Familiarity with Accenture policies and procedures.
  • Strong leadership presence.
  • Resilient, self-motived, goal driven orientation.
  • 5 years of experience in managing high complexity projects (including project planning, management, reporting, communications, issue resolution) involving one or more functional areas, work streams, or other units.
Professional Skill Requirements
  • Very good English oral and written communications skills, message development and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Proficient with Accenture standard tools such as MMS, MME, MMB, myScheduling, etc
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in professional setting; either military or civilian
