People in our Client Delivery & Operations career track drive delivery and capability excellence through the design, development and/or delivery of a solution, service, capability or offering. They grow into delivery-focused roles, and can progress within their current role, laterally or upward.
Program Specialist Services professionals provide project-based support services within both delivery centers and client site environments. These professionals support the delivery and execution of our key projects with specialized services.

Job Description
Program & Project Management Specialist professionals design and implements control-related activities to manage risks across a program (or group of interrelated projects) and to improve the likelihood that program goals are met.
A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
  • Solves problems largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
  • Interacts within own team and with direct supervisor.
  • Identifies and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Receives detailed to moderate level of instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments.
  • Monitors and track project’s progress and handle any issues that arise
  • Makes decisions impacting one’s own work.
  • Acts as an individual contributor and as a part of a team, with a predetermined, focused scope of work.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5 + years in Project Management experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Project Management domain
  • Experience with MS Project, Microsoft Project Server and Project Web Access
  • Experience with metrics reporting, Financial Forecasting, Variance Analysis and Budgeting
  • In-depth knowledge in Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
