This position is within Accenture's Services workforce.  This is a dedicated team of people who work on outsourcing engagements.   These are long-term partnerships with clients for whom we manage and provide increasingly specialized business operations, such as finance and accounting, IT, applications development and maintenance, help desk services, and HR.  We not only maintain key business functions for clients, we constantly seek to improve them to help our client's move ahead of the competition

 

Profile/Role Description:

 

•Technical and functional knowledge of Client proprietary Application called Order Management System (OMS) and Retek Merchandising System Lite (RMSL) system for one of our Retail Clients.

 

• 24 * 7 Support of Order Management System and RMSL application and Provide ONCALL Support including weekends

 

•Provide onsite support to various Order Management System (OMS) and Retek Merchandising System Lite (RMSL) development and support teams.

 

•Work on OMS and RMSL Incidents, Defects, Problem Tickets and Change requests

 

•Work on OMS and RMSL support management for future releases.

 

•Perform OMS and RMSL Maintenance Releases

 

•Perform detailed analysis on OMS and RMSL production defect and provides recovery and permanent resolution.

 

•Perform OMS and RMSL Release projects design reviews, Impact Analysis and provide feedback to delivery team as a Subject Matter Expert.

 

•Supporting OMS and RMSL Production deployments for upcoming releases.

 

•Support OMS Performance testing team in terms of Environment issues handling, WebServices issues and providing inputs as a Subject Matter Expert.

 

•Coordination with teams such as DBA, Middleware, Infrastructure team for resolving the Infrastructure / software / Environment related issues.

 

•Merging of Code and config changes on a production support changes.

 

•Analyze the OMS and RMSL problem ticket and give optimum solution for the end users

Salary Range: CAD 72,800 to CAD 82,800

Basic Qualifications:

 

 

 

1. Bachelor's Degree.

2. Good knowledge on Client proprietary Application - Order Management System and Retek Merchandising System Lite applications.

3. Willing to do shift work and provide ON CALL support including weekends

4.  2+ years of Retail IT Experience

 

 

Preferred Skills:

1. Unix environment experience

2. 2+ years of Java experience

3. 2 + years Oracle and PL SQL experience

4.Tomcat Webserver and App server Experience.

5. Retail Functional Certifications

 

 

 

Professional Skill Requirements:

 

 

 

1. Good Functional knowledge about the Client Specific OMS and RMSL application.

2. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member

3. Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

4. Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

5. Good technical and Issue Triage skills
