Security Managed Services Practitioner

Summary: As a Security Managed Services Practitioner, a typical day involves overseeing the delivery and management of security services within various client environments. This role requires continuous monitoring to maintain protection, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and support operational resilience. The practitioner collaborates with different teams to address security challenges and contributes to maintaining a secure and reliable infrastructure for clients. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Coordinate with stakeholders to align security operations with organizational goals. - Mentor and support team members to enhance their skills and performance. - Monitor security incidents and lead response efforts to mitigate risks effectively. Profile Requirements: •Must-have: Hands-on Cortex XSOAR experience. Candidates must have demonstrable, practical experience with XSOAR playbook development, custom integrations, and Python scripting within the XSOAR framework. This is non-negotiable — we cannot afford another ramp-up cycle on the platform itself. •Must-have: Strong analytical and automation reasoning skills. Beyond tool knowledge, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to assess a task, research the automation approach, understand the security context, and design the solution independently. This is the most critical skill — the ability to think through “what to automate and how” before touching the tool. •Preferred: Security operations / SOC background. Understanding of incident response workflows, SIEM-SOAR integration, indicator lifecycle, and SOC L1/L2 processes will significantly reduce onboarding time and improve delivery quality. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) Operations. - This position is based at our Manila office.
