THE WORK

  • Lead cost savings and strategic sourcing initiatives across categories such as Facilities, MRO, Technical Services, and Equipment.

  • Partner with senior client stakeholders to drive procurement strategies and deliver savings targets.

  • Build and manage strong relationships with Engineering, Maintenance, suppliers, and key business stakeholders.

  • Conduct category and market assessments to identify opportunities and develop sourcing strategies.

  • Oversee a portfolio of sourcing projects, ensuring efficient delivery and achievement of KPIs, SLAs, and cost reduction goals.

  • Drive continuous cost, performance, and supplier management improvements while resolving supplier-related issues.

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.

  • Support innovation, process optimization, automation, and the growth of Industrial Operations expertise within the organization.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a category management, procurement, and/or supply chain function

  • Experience of driving and implementing category strategies across multi-cultural and multinational environments

  • Minimum 7 years in a client facing or stakeholder management role.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline (business/finance/economics/engineering/ mathematics) or equivalent would be an asset

  • Ability to interface with customers and suppliers via strong written and verbal communications skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Formal training and/or experience in strategic sourcing would be an asset

  • Demonstrated ability to manage the successful creation and execution of a strategy, operating budget and staffing plan to support customer and company goals

  • Strong ability to effectively lead in a matrix organizational structure working with multiple internal clients

  • Knowledge of English language, min. C1 level required (both written and spoken).

  • This position requires travel of approximately 25% to multiple customer locations
