Job Description
Join the Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) team and help drive data-driven decision making across Accenture's Markets and Services organizations. In this role, you will partner with business leaders to deliver actionable insights, performance analysis, strategic reporting, and business intelligence solutions that support operational and strategic objectives.
As an Analytics & Modeling Senior Analyst, you will leverage data, analytics, and visualization tools to transform complex business information into meaningful insights. You will work closely with leadership stakeholders to support portfolio management, performance reviews, forecasting activities, and strategic initiatives across Finance, Sales, Talent, Quality, Delivery, and other business dimensions.
The ideal candidate combines analytical expertise, business acumen, stakeholder management skills, and a passion for solving business challenges through data and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Deliver advanced analytics and reporting solutions across multiple business dimensions, including Finance, Sales, Talent, Delivery, Quality, and operational performance.
- Partner with business leaders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable analytics and reporting solutions.
- Identify relevant data sources, metrics, and business drivers to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Develop business insights and executive-level reporting materials for leadership reviews and business discussions.
- Generate recommendations based on analysis of trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Promote the adoption of standard reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics tools.
Business Partnering & Strategic Support
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Market and Service leadership teams by providing data-driven recommendations and strategic insights.
- Support business planning initiatives through forecasting, budgeting, headcount planning, profitability analysis, and performance management.
- Analyze pipeline performance, win/loss trends, account growth opportunities, and operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, HR, and business operations stakeholders to support decision-making and performance improvement initiatives.
- Proactively anticipate business needs and identify opportunities for enhanced reporting and analytics.
Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reports, and analytical deliverables.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, quality, and timeliness across all reporting outputs.
- Perform quality assurance reviews and validation activities to maintain reporting integrity.
- Support ad-hoc reporting requests and rapidly changing business priorities.
Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Manage analytics projects from requirements gathering through delivery and implementation.
- Track project activities, dependencies, risks, and action items.
- Conduct regular stakeholder meetings to communicate progress, findings, and recommendations.
- Build strong relationships with business leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reporting capabilities, operational efficiency, and business value.
Team Development
- Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Share knowledge, mentor peers, and support team development initiatives.
- Promote best practices in analytics, reporting, and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Data Analysis, Reporting, Business Operations, or related functions.
- Experience translating business requirements into analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Experience developing dashboards, scorecards, and management reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
- Experience supporting business leaders with data-driven recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and data analysis techniques.
- Intermediate Power BI experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization, dashboard development, and business performance reporting.
- Experience supporting Finance, Sales, Talent, Delivery, or Business Operations functions.
- Knowledge of forecasting, budgeting, profitability analysis, and business planning processes.
- Experience working in Agile environments and managing multiple stakeholder requests.
- Exposure to project management and business transformation initiatives.
- Experience with SQL, data modeling, or advanced analytics tools.
- Experience supporting executive leadership and strategic decision-making processes.
