Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, identifying anomalies, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and support business continuity through timely problem resolution and effective communication.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to build knowledge and support the team.
- Participate in Problem Solving discussions.
- Assist in documenting issues and resolutions to enhance team knowledge base.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate and resolve complex problems.
- Monitor system alerts and respond promptly to minimize downtime.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing insights and feedback.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Payments Fundamentals.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot software issues effectively.
- Good understanding of business processes related to payment systems.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management processes.
- Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 0-2 years of experience in Payments Fundamentals.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
