As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves creating tailored software solutions by designing, coding, and improving various components within systems or applications. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is a key part of the daily routine to align development efforts with project goals and timelines.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Maintain and enhance existing software applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Document development processes, code changes, and system configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Should have worked in 1 to 2 End to End Implementation projects and have experience in doing configurations and writing Functional specifications/Design.
- Experience in working in EDI interfaces will be an added advantage.
- Experience in customizing and configuring SAP Sales and Distribution modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD components effectively.
- Familiarity with integration techniques between SAP SD and other enterprise systems.
- Good understanding of data flow and process automation within sales and distribution operations.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
