As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to meet specific business processes and application requirements. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the applications align with business goals, as well as continuously refining and enhancing software components to improve performance and usability. Attention to detail and adaptability are key as the engineer navigates through different phases of application development to deliver effective and efficient solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement best practices within the team to enhance productivity and quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and integration within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project goals and timely delivery.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to meet evolving business needs.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).
- Strong knowledge of software design principles and application architecture.
- Experience with debugging, testing, and deploying software applications.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of integration techniques and working with APIs.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Python (Programming Language).
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
