What would you do? Accenture is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Demand Planning Analyst and Senior-Analyst to support global demand planning operations. This role focuses on improving forecast accuracy, enabling data-driven decision-making and contributing to business outcomes through analytics and collaboration. Demand Planning Analyst and Senior-Analyst will work closely with internal teams and clients to execute and continuously improve demand planning processes while aligning with supply chain KPIs, client SLAs, and business objectives.
What are we looking for? Experience Required 03 – 08 years in Demand Planning with exposure to global complex planning networks Education Bachelors (B.Com/B.Sc/BBA/BE/B.Tech)/ Master’s in supply chain & Operations is preferred Tools & Systems APS tools (Kinaxis/o9/OMP/ IBP/APO, etc.), SAP ECC, Power BI and Advance Excel
Roles and Responsibilities: •Operational: • At least 2-3 years of work experience in a demand planning role. • Provide accurate and timely volume performance analysis to facilitate demand forecasting. • Ensure accurate and timely reporting as per the regional guidelines. • Manage forecasting process and improve forecasting accuracy. • Coordinate local forecasting process, co build short and mid-term demand plan with Sales & Marketing team • Propose demand plan based on statistical analysis (considering market trends, customers vision, expected exceptional guidelines issued from previous S&OP cycles) • Co-operate with the Product and Marketing teams to understand the product availability and coming Marketing activities • Consolidate the product-level forecasts from the sales teams • Provide visibility on product performance and reveal a trend towards lower or higher margin products for management team for fact-based decision making • Maintain demand plan to ensure cost effectiveness and to meet customer needs • Work with sales teams and supply chain management to improve forecast accuracy Management Results: • Streamline demand forecast, ensure the synchroneity of the targets and forecast across all functions • Track actual sales performance against forecast, provide analysis and manage for remedial action. • Monitor the tracking up-take of project stocks from FGS and distributor warehouse against forecast. Relationship Results: • Develop good working relationships with peers within Marketing functions and EM to facilitate knowledge sharing. • Build and maintain good working relationships within department and intra-department to support implementation and smooth execution of demand forecasting within the S&OP process
