What would you do? In our Service Supply Chain offering, we leverage a combination of proprietary technology and client systems to develop, execute, and deliver BPaaS (business process as a service) or Managed Service solutions across the service lifecycle: Plan, Deliver, and Recover. In this role, you will partner with business development and act as a Business Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help build resilient solutions that will enhance our clients supply chains and customer experience. We re on the lookout for passionate, talented individuals ready to make a difference. The Service Supply Chain business is seeking a Solution Architect Associate Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for solution configuration of client requirements and integration with sales to promote growth. We ensure a simplified solutioning process to reduce solution turnaround time, industrialize our ability to respond to RFPs and support sales opportunities. In this role, you will design, implement and direct a solution architecture to address specific problems and requirements, usually through the application of technical, business process and/or industry knowledge. You will showcase deep functional and industry content expertise in Supply Chain while working with other SMEs and specialists to construct holistic value-based propositions throughout the sales life-cycle – from early origination and business development through to detailed solutioning design and contracting.
What are we looking for? • Bachelor’s degree required • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in consulting, professional services, or supply chain services industry • Minimum of 5 years of advanced expertise in Excel and PowerPoint • Experience working with diverse, global teams • Experience managing client relationships to develop long term business partnerships • Willing to take ownership and be proactive in displaying a positive “can-do” attitude • Flexible working style with high degree of independence and hands-on approach • Well organized, disciplined and deadline focused • Strong presentation skills and ability to present to senior internal and external stakeholders • Calm and resilient in adverse circumstances • Previous customer engagement and contract negotiation experience • Clear and concise articulation, presentation, and documentation skills • Data-driven approach to create compelling value propositions • Research and analytical problem-solving skills • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
Roles and Responsibilities: • Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors • Form accurate interpretations of client expectations and plan solutions accordingly. Solutions must map planned business outcomes to well defined solution components in alignment with client expectations. • Build solution plans including documenting RACIs, Risks, Operating Models, Governance, Timelines, Technology, Costing and Mobilization components leveraging both complex Excel spreadsheets, systems and Power Point presentations • Manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve consensus on solution plans and deliverability. • Closely follows the strategic direction set by senior management when establishing near term goals • Interact with senior management at a client and or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach Has some latitude in making decisions • Act independently to determine methods and procedures to create compelling value propositions, benchmarks and industry standards and documents for future re-use • Decisions have a major day-to-day impact on area of responsibility • Manage small medium sized teams and/or work efforts if in an individual contributor role at a client or within Accenture • Operate as a single point of contact or as part of a team on large deals with multiple SAs accountable to the SA SPOC from Stage 1 to deal closure
