Job Description:

As the Practice Lead, you will work with our clients in advising Service Management and ServiceNow options and possibilities to support all IT and non-IT services. You will also be accountable for the formulation of the overall strategy for the South African Practice as underpinned by the Global Accenture Strategy for Service Management and ServiceNow.

In your capacity as Senior Manager you are expected to build the capability in alignment to the sales, revenue and profitability targets and ensure adequate skills and resource strategies are defined and implemented to support the relevant business targets.

You will be working, and mostly leading global teams assisting our clients to define a business case, strategy or implementing platform-based solutions and services to realize their goals.

As Service Management and ServiceNow covers a broad spectrum of components and applications, you will work in and lead a variety of projects, helping clients to modernize processes that could be in employee, customer experience or completely new application development domains.

You will be involved in implementations and introduction of Service Management and ServiceNow to new and existing clients.

Besides projects, together with the Global Service Management and ServiceNow teams you will be working on interesting proposals and sales activities in shaping both Service Management and ServiceNow deals. You’ll be giving demonstrations of the tool and presentations on the capabilities.

Qualifications

Here's what you need:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ Service Management and Service Management tooling experience, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience serving as a team lead and/or delivery lead.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in 3 of the following areas:
  • Capability building
  • Performance management
  • Business relationship management
  • Sales and Marketing

Bonus Points if:

  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • PMP certification
  • Previous consulting or client service delivery experience.
  • ITIL Expert Certification
  • ServiceNow Certifications.
  • Personnel Development Experience (hiring, resource planning, performance feedback, etc.)

  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong analytical skills and thought processes
