Project Role : Business Process Architect
Project Role Description : Analyze and design new business processes to create the documentation that guides the implementation of new processes and technologies. Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases to meet process and functional requirements. Participate in user and task analysis to represent business needs.

Role Overview
The Well Lead serves as the primary technical coordinator for the Wells Support & Dev POD, overseeing L1–L3 application support across Well Planning applications. While this is still a junior-to-mid role (5–7 years), the Well Lead is expected to take ownership of sprint coordination, incident triage escalation, and stakeholder communication on behalf of the POD.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily POD activities, assign tickets, and unblock team members on L2/L3 escalations
Act as the primary point of contact between the Wells business unit, client IT stakeholders, and the AMS POD
Triage and prioritize ServiceNow incidents for Spotfire and PowerBI global dashboards including automation services and email reports
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-up, sprint planning, retrospective) and maintain JIRA sprint boards
Monitor SLA compliance for P1–P3 incidents escalate to senior engineers or vendor support as required
Support functional and technical troubleshooting for custom Wells applications and vendor platforms
Coordinate enhancement delivery per approved software management processes
Maintain team knowledge articles and runbooks ensure documentation is current
Provide follow-the-sun support coordination for global app coverage
Contribute to monthly and quarterly performance reports for Wells service area
Required Skills & Tools
Spotfire (admin/support level), Power BI (workspace/report admin), automated report scheduling
Basic understanding of Well Planning workflows, drilling data concepts
ServiceNow (incident + change), JIRA (sprint management), Confluence
Able to review and understand .NET, C# or similar code for basic troubleshooting coordination
Clear written and verbal skills able to bridge technical issues to business stakeholders
Scrum ceremonies facilitation, burndown chart tracking, sprint velocity awareness
Nice to Have
Prior team lead or coordination experience (even informal)
Exposure to Well Planning platforms (e.g., Landmark WELLPLAN, Halliburton WellView, or similar)
SaaS platform support experience
Familiarity with SLA-driven environments and shift handover procedures
