THE WORK
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will contribute to building a future‑ready Software‑Defined Vehicle Platform that unifies Linux, Android, QNX, AUTOSAR & Adaptive AUTOSAR into one powerful developer ecosystem—supporting innovation in ADAS and Infotainment domains.
Your responsibilities will include:
Design and develop embedded software solutions for vehicle Ethernet based in-vehicle networking systems
* Implement and integrate Ethernet communication stacks, low-level drivers, and networking interfaces for automotive embedded platforms.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performance connectivity solutions for next-generation vehicle architectures.
* Support integration, debugging, testing, and optimization of automotive networking features across MCU and RTOS-based environments

The work location for this role may include a mix of working remotely (most of the time), onsite at a client, or in an Accenture office—depending on specific project circumstances. With all our roles, there is some in‑person time for collaboration, learning, and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. Požiadavky
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Strong modern C++ (version 11+) skills in embedded environments
- Deep knowledge of Ethernet and embedded networking stacks (lwIP or similar)
- Experience developing drivers / low-level code to manage and operate Ethernet MAC, PHY, and/or specialised SoC hardware subsystems (Packet Filtering Engines, etc)
- Experience writing software to configure and manage L2 switches over SPI / in-band Switch Management Protocol
- Hands-on MCU development experience on architectures such as Arm Cortex-M/R, Infineon AURIX TriCore, or similar
- Experience with RTOS development (FreeRTOS, ThreadX, or similar)
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
Experience with or some knowledge of Ethernet AVB/TSN for time-sensitive applications
- Experience with Automotive Ethernet (Base-T1, Base-T1S) and TC8 Compliance Testing
