Valerie Armbrust is the Global Technology and Cloud lead for Accenture’s Public Service practice. In this role, Val drives client business outcomes and helps clients to achieve total enterprise reinvention by bringing together Accenture’s technology and cloud expertise with key ecosystem partners.
In this role, Val drives client business outcomes and helps clients to achieve enterprise-wide transformation by bringing Accenture’s deep technology, functional and Public Service expertise across Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Workday, Salesforce and other leading platforms.
Val joined Accenture in 1997 as a management consultant. She has worked across Accenture Public Service, helping agencies to transform their business processes and organizational systems, most recently leading Accenture’s Child Services team in North America. Coming as she does from within the industry, Val’s innate understanding of public services enables her to join the dots between safe, secure ecosystem-enabled cloud capabilities and client needs. Cloud expertise on its own isn’t enough. These key ecosystem partnerships differentiate our solutions and realize client benefits that are only possible if we act in strong partnership. It’s all about putting client needs first while developing Accenture’s cloud strategy, thought leadership and new offerings.
With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s in labor relations and human resources, Val has spent her entire career combining her knowledge of people and business with her passion to serve others. She continues to be motivated by her children and the hope that her work will directly impact the most vulnerable in our communities, giving them the same opportunities to thrive.
Val lives in Boston, where she enjoys running and spending time with her family.
