Strategy & Consulting Manager - Chemicals, Energy and Steel

The work
You will join Accenture’s Strategy and Consulting practice, working with companies in chemicals, energy and steel. Your focus is on improving performance across the business, from early strategic choices through to delivery and measurable outcomes. You will work closely with executive teams across the enterprise on topics such as R&D effectiveness, commercial and pricing performance, supply chain improvement and operating model change through large transformation programs. Sustainability is a constant part of this work, as clients balance decarbonization, resource efficiency and long-term resilience with the need to deliver strong financial performance.

As a Manager, you take responsibility for client engagements from start to finish. You help define direction, support delivery and make sure the work leads to real impact. You act as a trusted sparring partner for senior leaders, help them work through complex issues and stay involved as decisions are turned into action. At the same time, you lead teams, coach people and create an environment where others can perform at their best.

You use technology and data where they help improve decisions and business performance, while staying focused on what truly changes how the organization works. You are thoughtful in how solutions are designed and applied, with close attention to security and responsible use. You bring structure to complex situations, helping clients move from intent to action and ensure improvements last beyond the project itself.

Here's what you'll need
- A Master’s degree in a technical, business or economic field
- At least 5 years of relevant (consulting / industry) experience
- Experience in complex, asset-intensive, or process-driven industries
- Fkluent in Dutch and English
- Analytical and pragmatic, with strong stakeholder skills
