Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to meet project requirements. This role requires taking ownership of the application lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring that the solutions align with business objectives. The position demands proactive communication and collaboration to address challenges and deliver high-quality software products efficiently and effectively.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project standards.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Sitecore.
- Strong knowledge of web application architecture and design patterns related to Sitecore development.
- Experience in customizing and extending Sitecore components to meet specific business needs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within Sitecore environments.
- Familiarity with integration of Sitecore with other enterprise systems and third-party services.
- Understanding of content management principles and digital marketing concepts as they relate to Sitecore.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Sitecore.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
