Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves analyzing various client requirements and designing effective solutions tailored to their needs. The role includes coding and testing multiple components of application software, ensuring that each element functions seamlessly within the overall system. Additionally, the position requires ongoing maintenance and enhancement of existing applications to improve performance and address any issues. Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is a continuous part of the work, fostering an environment of shared knowledge and innovation to meet project goals efficiently.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
- Document technical specifications and maintain clear records of development activities.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and understanding.
- Continuously update knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies to apply best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Varicent.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with experience in software development lifecycle.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Experience in debugging and troubleshooting complex software issues.
- Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative development tools.
- Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and clients.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Varicent.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
