Cloudflare Network Security Specialist

We are seeking a Cloudflare Network Security Specialist that will support the deployment, operation and optimization of Cloudflare One services, helping organizations strengthen secure connectivity and accelerate Zero Trust adoption. This role focuses on cloud-delivered network security capabilities, supporting secure access to applications, users and resources while contributing to the delivery of modern security architectures.
Working closely with cloud, infrastructure and security teams, the successful candidate will help implement and support Zero Trust and SASE initiatives, improve network security controls and assist with the resolution of connectivity and access-related issues. Through operational support, technical analysis and cross-functional collaboration, this role contributes to secure and reliable network access for global clients.
You will participate in Cloudflare One deployments, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) implementations, Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and CASB initiatives, identity integration projects and secure connectivity transformations while continuously developing expertise in Zero Trust and SASE technologies.
What You'll Do
- Support the deployment and administration of Cloudflare One services
- Support Cloudflare Browser Isolation capabilities and secure browsing initiatives
- Assist with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) implementations
- Support Secure Web Gateway (SWG) and Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) capabilities
- Assist with Cloudflare Tunnel onboarding, private network connectivity and secure access solutions
- Support Identity Provider integrations using Entra ID and SSO technologies
- Troubleshoot networking, DNS and application access issues
- Analyze security and network logs to support incident resolution
- Create and maintain operational documentation and implementation deliverables
- Collaborate with cloud, security and infrastructure teams
- Continuously develop expertise in Zero Trust and SASE technologies
- Support Device Posture integrations and endpoint security enforcement initiatives
- Support Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and data protection policy implementations
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering or a related field
- 4 or more years of experience in Networking, Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Engineering or Security Operations
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, VPN, HTTP/HTTPS, Authentication and Network Security concepts
- Familiarity with SAML, OAuth, Entra ID, Zero Trust principles and Identity Security concepts
- Ability to troubleshoot network, connectivity and application access issues
- Experience analyzing logs and technical data to support incident investigation and resolution
- Ability to create operational documentation and implementation deliverables
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively across cloud, security, and infrastructure teams
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
- Fluent English communication skills are mandatory
Legal: Must own a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space Nationality to legally work in Portugal
