Technology Consulting Senior Manage
"I think it is important to find your own recipe to life, different things are important for different people."
I usually have meetings during 9-15, often initiated by myself. As a project manager, you are responsible for the deliverables, status reporting and presentations to the project team and the Steering Committee. In order to have the complete picture of the deliverables and status at all times, you need to constantly ask for status, follow up on action points, find the right persons to contact and gather important resources in the same room to solve problems and issues, and address important risks.
Additionally, I have to keep track of the administrative part such as financials and Accenture resources working together with me. My customer has many employees located in different areas of the building, so there is a lot of running in between meetings. I always have time to eat lunch, either with the project team or with other Accenture colleagues working with the customer.
There are moments when it is very hectic, but I like it that way.
Apart from work, I like cycling, drawing, cross country skiing, hiking and being sociable.

I work a lot because I enjoy working for Accenture, the client and in the project.
