A day in the life of
"The day starts at 08:30 hrs at the client site with a cup of coffee with colleagues to discuss the events of the day. After I work my way through my email, I meet up with my senior Accenture colleague to discuss the progress report I created the day before.
Working on a privacy and security project with many different objectives, necessitates a structured approach and clarity in reporting. After settling on the most important updates for the client meeting, I return to my laptop and incorporate the latest feedback from Legal on a guideline that explains how GDPR impacts tracking cookie consent and what the clients’ businesses should do to comply. In previous stages of the guideline, I could rely on expertise from Accenture colleagues on this complex topic.
After lunch, I get ready for a call with Accenture colleagues to present on a recent security incident. Sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues enables the team to learn and grow further.
In the afternoon I turn to scanning a new website for known vulnerabilities. After the automated scan is completed, the report is sent to the client business contact, who will be responsible for fixing the issues that came up during the scan.
At 17:00 hrs, I dial into a call with Accenture colleagues to discuss the latest and greatest in the field of incident response and forensics."
