Accenture Strategy Consumer Goods & Services (CG&S), airline and travel focuses on advising Boards and the full C-Suite. This dedicated group of CG&S, airline and travel strategy experts understand issues specific to our clients’ industry and will help shape our clients’ response to evolving growth and business needs.

 

Accenture’s unique ability to combine deep CG&S, airline and travel expertise across Strategy, Technology and Operations means that it is able to offer clients an enterprise-wide CG&S, airline and travel program to predict and respond to needs in an industry specific context.

 

Job Description. 

  • Apply deep business strategy development, architecting value and operating model architecture skills to influence client agendas through business insight.
  • Partner with our clients to make bold decisions on priority C-Suite issues at the intersection of business, technology and operations.  Provides deep understanding of our clients' industry landscape and business options in the context of global, economic, technology and social trends.
  • Adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems. 
  • Understand the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals. 
  • Use considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems. 
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.  
  • Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside. 
  • Manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture

Qualifications


You are independent, decisive and ready to analyze, structure and solve complex problems. You are a talented and effective communicator, and are able to discuss and share your solutions within the Accenture team and with our client. Above all, you are motivated to discover a continuous and steep learning curve.

Additionally, you cover these basic requirements: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in products, travel, airline, goods and services industry.
  • Minimum of 8 years of consulting experience at a strategy consulting firm 
  • Proven entrepreneurship
  • Academic background with excellent results
  • Strong personality, communication and leadership skills
  • The ability to think conceptually and creative problem solving skills
  • Fluency in Dutch and English, spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Demonstrated work experience within data strategy, management and operational reporting and enabling technologies
  • Successful career progression in one or more of the following: sales/business development, including pricing strategy, deal shaping, and business case development
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft Office product suite
  • MBA

  • Have a deep intellectual capacity and relevant experience to develop creative and breakthrough solutions.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to understand complex issues with the ability to quickly absorb information and deploy conceptual and creative problem solving.
  • Successful track record in sales origination with an entrepreneurial mind-set; demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams to shape, sell, communicate, and implement security strategy engagements.
  • Demonstrate first class written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner.  Own and develop our offerings and assets.
  • Be a natural leader with the ability to easily establish trust-based relationships; skilled in gaining valuable insights through collaboration and communication.
  • Lead, mentor and develop our people.
  • Possess drive, determination and optimism with proven ability to adapt and remove obstacles to achieve results
