THE WORK

The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain data infrastructure and to conduct efficient marketing data mapping process through processing of various data sources. These efforts will ensure proper and correct data is in place for business decisions that drive a consistent and right performance to hit company targets.

Support the demand planning process by preparing forecasts for reporting purposes.

  • Maintenance of End Market (GER) database and performing data analysis activities based on business requirements

  • Consolidate data requirements and actively engage with the End market team to ensure data availability and accuracy

  • Proactively use all available sources of information and resources for efficient data gathering

  • Maintaining robust data management policies, procedures and processes, and a robust control environment

  • Assist with ad hoc Data Management projects and initiatives, as assigned by superiors; Initiate and lead Data Management continuous improvement projects

  • Prepare and upload forecast (HU) into APO system (across all categories) including driving automatization, standardization, simplification/complexity reduction in processes and ways of working.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 1-2 years of work with data and big databases

  • Data analysis and interpretation skills

  • Degree preferably in Statistics, Business analytics, Data science or Marketing

  • German and English Language proficiency (min. C1 level)

  • Able to bring both an analytical attitude and a creative problem-solving approach

  • Knowledge of data sources

  • Experience with Kinaxis or in marketing planning is a benefit

  • Knowledge on multi-categories is a benefit

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, including proficiency in data analysis, data structures, modelling, and architecture.

  • Experience with database software is an advantage

  • Good communication skills.
