Every day in this line of work, you’ll encounter new technology, an app or an insight that can inform and influence your approach to providing your clients’ needs. This environment of flexibility teaches you to adopt an innovation mindset so that you are not afraid of change or the ambiguity that is the nature of the business.
My colleagues and I work with teams from both Indonesia and Asia Pacific (APAC). We have daily stand-up sessions and leverage agile techniques to run our projects, which empowers and helps us own our work.
My team of more than 30 is currently transforming the biggest automotive dealership in the country by providing an online to offline experience. What makes this project particularly exciting is the people: the project members, managers, directors and clients. Working with them, I feel enriched and challenged on a day-to-day basis.
The access to valuable knowledge resources as well as top quality talent here at Accenture is unrivaled. For instance, I came to this company as a digital marketer, but my project experience has taught me strategic business development skills, which requires a more holistic view of how a business operates. I am now confident that I can pitch and discuss insights with clients as we co-create digital solutions that best fit their business needs.
When it comes to Accenture people, not only are they kind, open and insightful; they are also generous with what they know and how they acquired their learnings.
In my team, we’ve so become close that we truly appreciate each other’s roles outside of our work. Some of us are parents, daughters or sons; some of us are quiet and calm, or loud and energetic. In fact, most of the team don’t even speak the local language—but we make it work.
On weekends, I run my fashion brand or try new restaurants with my husband so that we could judge dishes like proper food critics. When traveling, I try to find new diving spots for me to conquer. Whenever I can, I read, listen to podcasts and play with my two cats.
