Reigniting FinTech excellence

The FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific is an annual accelerator program run by Accenture in collaboration with Hong Kong Cyberport and the world’s top financial institutions. Now in its 10th year, the program helps early- to growth-stage enterprise technology companies accelerate product and business development by providing unparalleled access to mentorship and industry executives.

Over the past decade, our accelerator program has groomed 70 alumni emerging companies, raised over US$800 million, generated 357 proofs of concepts, and completed more than 230 pilot programs, with eight of them being acquired.

 

Our 10 Lab finalists this year, continue to explore FinTech evolution together with innovators, leaders from financial institutions, regulators, investors and others to accelerate FinTech growth and adoption in the region.

 

Selected from more than 100 applicants across 19 countries/regions, we unveiled the 10 startup finalists and their solutions at the FinTech Innovation Lab Asia Pacific Welcome Reception on May 16, 2023.

 

This year’s program will come to a close at the FinTech’s Finest Forum 2023 on 26 October. Together we will celebrate the emergence of a new cohort that will become industry enablers for the region’s vibrant Fintech ecosystem.

What are our focus areas?

FinTech:

Data & AI

  • How might we better organize & leverage data to drive intelligent decision-making?
  • How might we leverage AI in a walled regulated business?

Compliance & Risk

  • Is there a comprehensive regulatory compliance solution that provides the full global bank access to all applicable LRRs across multiple jurisdictions and banking functions (e.g. asset management, securities, banking).
  • Besides, from the KYC perspective, the solution interface allows integration of various Bank systems or data from control and monitoring systems such as Anti-Money Laundering systems, Screening Systems and Risk Assessment to ensure operation teams will get a singular view of the Legal Entity.

GBA Service Provider

  • How might financial institutions leverage FinTech solution to provide seamless services to GBA customers remotely

Client Experience

  •  How might insurance companies provide customers with cutting-edge solutions & experiences – every bit as sophisticated and customized as they experience in their personal lives?
