WORK YOU’LL DO

Capability Network Risk & Compliance team focuses on partnering with Accenture R&C Network teams to bring distinctive capabilities in dealing with new Regulatory Frameworks and providing assistance in evolving Financial Risk management capabilities, Capital markets evolution as well as new available technologies.

Financial Services face a regulatory tsunami in the recent years and – as per the regulatory framework – are obliged to systematically submit supervisory data to the Banking Supervision Departments (ECB, EBA, SSM, BoG)

As a Regulatory Reporting Analyst/Consultant you will be member of Risk & Compliance Consulting practice that helps Financial Institutions to carry out Regulatory reporting submissions towards the Supervisory Authorities. You will work in the intersection between IT and Business stakeholders to assist on the data tape preparation and final submission bridging business, regulatory and analytical knowledge with data management practices. (Data modeling/SQL/ETL)

You will be invited to analyze ECB Taxonomies & Data Dictionaries, apply announced methodologies, and develop a data infrastructure that will assist Banks to standardize, streamline and stabilize their Regulatory submissions.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating workshops with client’s stakeholders to validate business requirements & functional specifications

  • Collecting all the necessary data elements from various sources and implemented the data extraction from data repositories (e.g. Data Warehouse) to produce the data tapes/templates in compliance with the ECB regulations and directions

  • Applying and developing the analytical framework & methodology to consistently compare and assess the resilience of EU to shocks, and to challenge the capital position of EU banks

  • Collaborating closely with IT and Business stakeholders to implement a solution, run and submit final reports/templates

  • Developing cohesive conclusions and interpretation

  • Performing Reconciliation against Bank’s announced balance sheet.

Qualifications

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, engineering

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science and/or other Business Areas (e.g. MBA, Finance, Business Analytics, etc.) would be considered as a strong plus

  • Qualifying experience (2-5 years) in Finance & Risk with a focus on regulatory reporting

  • Qualifying experience (2-5 years) in Financial Services/Banking or in Consultancy

  • Demonstrated experience in at least two or more of the following indicative regulatory reports: FINREP, COREP, NSFR, LCR, Anacredit, Onsite Inspection (OSI), Asset Quality Review (AQR), EBA Stress Tests, ESMA, SRB

  • Strong experience in data analysis and reporting (Microsoft SQL)

  • Knowledge of ETL Tools such as Microsoft SSIS or other

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel)

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines with high attention to detail and quality
