At Accenture we believe a workforce that reflects the socioeconomic make-up of society is critical to creating business value. We’re continually evolving the way we recruit to better identify talent from more diverse backgrounds. We want to nurture and support undiscovered talent and create valuable career opportunities for young people who may not have had access to professional connections or experience.
Our Social Impact virtual learning experiences have been designed to give you industry work experience and enhance your employability skills, enabling you to be more confident and prepared for the working world. In addition, you will learn more about why at Accenture we care about the individual, identify and harness your strength, and foster a support network amongst those with a shared passion.
As a founding partner of Movement to Work, Accenture has committed to providing work placements and employability support to young people who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) since 2013. Accenture has delivered 1,350+ placements since then. As part of our commitments, we created a new and high-impact five-day programme, forming our ‘Unlocking Potential’ series. These events aim to help young people to enhance their employability skills, develop a range of skills to aid their professional development and understand the career opportunities at Accenture. Participants are also fast tracked to assessment centre for our Technology and Consulting apprenticeships. We currently run four programmes per year across London, Newcastle & Edinburgh.
