Senior CNC Consultant for our Managed Services team. A seasoned senior JD Edwards CNC Engineer who possesses extensive experience working in a Managed Services environment while managing multiple priorities and customers.  Innovative to create customer business solutions with ever-changing versions of EnterpriseOne.  A strategic thinker who is comfortable and experienced working directly with the customers and internal management.  Wide-ranging troubleshooting customer issues including some 3rd party products and ability to proactively create solutions that can be used with all our customer base.  Any experience with Oracle Cloud (OCI) would also be beneficial.  This is a permanent role and we welcome applications from EMEA. There is also a requirement to join an On Call rota.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical lead for JD Edwards (JDE) support, resolving customer-raised issues and service requests.

  • Monitor system performance, alerting, and implement changes to align with client-specific requirements.

  • Perform ongoing system maintenance including health checks, patching, and update deployments.

  • Contribute to automation, AI initiatives, and internal tooling within the JDE Managed Services team.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, development, and functional teams to drive resolution and improvements.

Qualifications

Job Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Extensive experience in JD Edwards CNC administration, including upgrade planning, Tools/Application upgrades, and Server Manager operations.

  • Strong JDE Security expertise: role-based access, row/column security, Security Workbench, and user administration.

  • Proven experience with ASU/ESU application, including impact analysis assessments and Change Assistant.

  • Experience with Linux, Windows, and IBM i (iSeries) operating systems.

  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) experience is a strong plus.

  • Proficient in SQL scripting and data analysis.

  • Exposure to commonly used third-party tools with JD Edwards (e.g., ReportsNow, AllOut Security).
