Hybrid Working: Remote with occasional visits to our Newcastle office. Applicable after successful completion of initial 6 weeks office based training in Newcastle.
Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and making a real difference? We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Associate to join our dedicated team at Accenture. As a key member of our small, dynamic team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all cash received from producers is accurately allocated to customer accounts in a timely manner. This role also includes handling exceptions and resolving account discrepancies to support financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely billing in accordance with contract terms.
Monitor incoming payments and apply them to correct customer accounts.
Maintain accurate customer account balances.
Match payments with invoices, resolve unallocated or partial payments.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or payment disputes.
Escalate complex issues in line with company policy.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices.
Ensure relevant SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are consistently met.
Assist Customer service team during peak time to support high non-voice volumes of requests.
Handle ad-hoc billing requests and support additional billing/payment tasks.

Additional Skills/Experience (a plus):
Proven experience working in a finance or accounts receivable environment with a basic understanding of cash application and billing processes and related technologies.
Familiarity with Stripe payment platform and related payment systems.
Knowledge of banking procedures, payment methods, and credit card processing.
