The Work:

Lead and drive strategic engagements between Accenture and senior client stakeholders to design, build, and scale transformative solutions across transmission, distribution, and generation.

Architect end-to-end transformation strategies that address complex grid modernization, operational, and integration challenges, defining program roadmaps, governance structures, and measurable outcomes for large-scale transmission, distribution, and hydro engagements.

Provide strategic direction and executive oversight across application, process, and functional design activities, ensuring quality, alignment to client objectives, and delivery excellence.

Define enterprise-level functional and non-functional requirements, translating complex client needs into actionable solution blueprints and design frameworks for grid and generation applications, including advanced distribution management systems (ADMS), energy management systems (EMS), and asset management platforms.

Direct the design and validation of business solution prototypes, establishing standards for functional excellence and driving innovation across solution components that address utility sector challenges.

Oversee full program delivery lifecycle including application build, deployment, data migration, and test strategy, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery aligned with NERC reliability standards, provincial regulatory requirements, and utility operational standards.

Lead business origination efforts, including opportunity identification, go-to-market strategy, executive client relationship development, and the development of compelling proposals and thought leadership content for the transmission, distribution, and hydro electric generation sector.

Lead executive-level workshops and governance forums with C-suite and senior client stakeholders to define strategic requirements, resolve complex issues, and secure alignment across business, technology, and regulatory functions.

Drive quantitative analyses that identify opportunities for cost and productivity improvements and develop business cases for grid infrastructure investments, hydro generation fleet upgrades, and digital technology deployments.

Orchestrate multi-disciplinary teams across Accenture’s global network to design and deliver integrated digital and operational transformation programs, driving measurable value for transmission operators, distribution utilities, and hydro electric generators.

Develop and grow a high-performing team of managers and consultants, providing coaching, career development guidance, and performance leadership while building a culture of excellence in grid and hydro sector consulting.

Champion and shape the strategic growth of Accenture’s Transmission, Distribution & Generation practices, establishing eminence through published insights, conference participation, and market-shaping perspectives on grid modernization, DER integration, clean energy transition, hydro fleet optimization, and the evolving regulatory landscape.
Here's what you’ll need:

15+ years of consulting experience, with significant depth in utilities consulting
-
10+ years of experience leading complex client engagements at a senior level, with a demonstrated track record of driving large-scale transformation programs and growing strategic client relationships.

A University Degree is required for this position

Deep expertise in transmission and distribution management system processes including grid operations, asset management, engineering change control, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., NERC CIP, provincial utility commissions).

Advanced expertise in utility asset management, equipment reliability, configuration management, and outage and maintenance planning for transmission, distribution, and hydro assets, with direct experience applying these in large-scale transformation or modernization programs.

Proven ability to originate and lead large consulting engagements independently, manage senior executive client relationships, build trusted advisor status, and deliver measurable impact on complex transformation programs.

Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, facilitation, and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence at the C-suite level and lead cross-functional teams through ambiguity and change.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location,
role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation, based on full-time
employment, for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
