Digital Workplace Manager and Pride Lead

In my day-to-day work I'm a Digital Workplace Manager (part of our Infrastructure practice), we help businesses modernize their workplace solutions. We help developing of strategies (assessing transformation opportunities), modernization efforts (introducing standardization of devices, automated remote and self-service options) and provide cloud-based services (enabling people to interact anytime, anywhere and from any device with an enhanced workplace experience).
In addition to my daily work I am Pride Lead. Accenture is committed to ensuring an inclusive environment for all employees regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity or expression. The Pride and Pride Ally Networks are set up to enable all our people to be their authentic self at work. Our work includes professional development, ensuring inclusive policies recruitment, promotion and retention guidelines, as well as ensuring equal benefits, including insurance coverage for gender affirmation surgery in certain countries for all.
Locally, we host the "Pride Month" every June, including participation in the Pride Parade and other events during Pride Week. We host educational events, round-table-discussions, as well as work with our partners and other major Norwegian companies in a cross-company network. Our work is also cross-Nordic, with our respective country leads working together on Nordic initiatives and cooperation’s, including exciting events such as this year's World Pride Event!
I love the opportunity to work with challenging, but almost always super-interesting projects and assignments.
In addition, I really appreciate the Accenture "knowledge base" consisting of both highly skilled people around the globe, as well as documented experiences and methods. Whatever challenge I encounter in my projects, I can always check our previous experiences, or reach out to someone globally knowledgeable of the topic to get help and support. I've yet to experience someone not willing to help - or point me to someone who can.

Most of my time is spent either working on customer projects, other days my focus is more on sales work for new opportunities and proposals, often a bit of a mix. My typical project role is either as some sort of project manager or an advisory role, working close with teams and offshore resources to evaluate and build solutions, or working with our clients on transformation strategies and plans.
The remainder of my time is spent on my other engagements and roles, with my main focus on my role as a Pride Lead, working closely with my equivalent leads in the other Nordic Countries to develop and grow both our Pride and Pride Ally networks. Our main focus has been centered around the Pride Month/Pride Weeks, but this year we also want to setup more training calls to educate our people and increase engagement in Inclusion & Diversity topics.
