Job Description

Are you passionate about using data and digital technologies to transform how products are designed, engineered, and manufactured? Do you want to work with leading-edge solutions such as AR/VR/XR, cloud, AI, 5G, robotics and digital twins? Do you have experience in managing complex projects involving automation, robotics, and smart connected products?

If yes, then join us as an Automation Project Manager in our Industry X Service Group. You will be part of a dynamic team that helps our clients across various industries to digitize their production and operations, create connected factories and plants, and leverage intelligent asset management and autonomous robotic systems.

As an Automation Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading and delivering automation projects for our clients, from planning and scoping to execution and closure

  • Managing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, and stakeholders

  • Coordinating and collaborating with internal and external teams, including engineers, developers, technicians, consultants, and vendors

  • Ensuring compliance with Accenture's methodologies, standards, and best practices

  • Providing technical guidance and support to project team members and clients

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, or a related field

  • 3 years experience from the Life Science industry including demonstrable knowledge of validation requirements 

  • Hands-on experience of programming PLCs and/or SCADA

  • A certification in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile

  • A strong understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts and technologies, such as IoT, cloud, AI, 5G, robotics, and digital twins

  • A proven track record of delivering complex and innovative projects on time, on budget, and with high quality

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Willingness to travel and work at client locations
