Nordic Procurement Plus Lead

Within the Europe Procurement Plus organization delivering for Accenture internal client, the Nordic Procurement Plus Lead is accountable for all Procurement services delivered in his/her Market Unit (Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia). Those services include Category Management, Sourcing & Contract Execution, Procurement Operations, Contractors Exchange (Cx), Ventures & Acquisitions support, Account Payables; those services could also be delivered by various Global, Regional, Market Unit, nearshore or offshore teams specialized in their domain. 

Detailed key responsibilities are: 

Stakeholders management 

• Identify key stakeholders within Nordics (Market Unit Lead, Director of Operation, Service Leads, Geographic Service Lead, Venture & Acquisition COO, Avanade etc …)

• Act as a business partner with them and proactively organize sessions to understand business priorities and identify our value contribution opportunities

• Work with various Procurement function leads to execute those value opportunities

• Ensure coordination with various Procurement Plus regional and global team related to stakeholder engagement

• Ensure stakeholder satisfaction on Procurement Plus delivery

Nordics Procurement Delivery

• Oversee a ~$ 115 million portfolio of 3rd party spend across External Talent Management, Technology, Travel, Workplace, Human Resources, Finance / Legal and Marketing categories including Avanade

• Set up Nordics Procurement targets in alignment with business priorities and procurement’s ones

• Work closely with Europe Category Management Leads to review Category strategy and plan applicable for the MU and ensure feasibility and implementation

• Work closely with Europe Category Management Leads to identify and deploy sourcing projects opportunities in line with the business priorities, global/regional category strategies, market opportunities, contract expiring, long tenure contracts etc …

• Follow target completion for the MU through KPI and work closely with the various pillars & leads of Procurement Plus organization to ensure quality delivery is delivered in the MU (Procurement Operation, CX, Account Payable, V&A etc …)

• Set up annual budget for Nordics (payroll, expenses, Travel) and control monthly deviation

• Act as a point of contact and point of escalation within the Market Unit for stakeholders or Procurement organization

• Achieve Sustainability, Inclusion and Diversity targets 

Venture & Acquisition 

• Work with Ventures & Acquisition Procurement Plus team to support the integration of those acquisitions from a Procurement perspective (process and tools adoption, deviation from global standards, supplier mitigation, contract standardization, local training etc …)

• Manage local V&A leadership relationship when required

Innovation creation & transformation projects coordination

• Identify innovative & improvement ideas and value-add services that Procurement Plus can bring to Accenture

• Know and understand the various Global Transformation projects going on within Procurement Plus, ensure that their deployment is applicable in the Market Unit

• When applicable, support development of global end to end procurement process, templates and tools

• Support various initiatives based on company’s priorities (ZBS, 360 relationship etc …) 

Team management 

• Manage the Nordics Procurement Plus team community (lead team meeting where key local information are shared, celebrate events / achievements, etc …)

• Support hiring process for P+ local recruitment when required (job posting & interview) 

• Follow Accenture’s concept of Leadership DNA

Supplier management 

• Promote greater use of Global or Regional Strategic Providers

• Manage, when applicable, local supplier relationships in line with Global Category and 360 SRM Team

Risk management 

• Ensure the highest level of compliance with local legislations, regulations and Accenture policies with the support of the Procurement Plus Risk team

• Champion implementation of internal risk management / mitigation controls to ensure compliance to corporate policies and statutory rules, regulations and laws 

• Answer and manage expectations from internal and external auditors (ISO 27001 …)
