Customer Experience Lead - Hospitality


Do you enjoy interaction with internal and external guests, as well as planning and hosting events? On top of that, do you like to see the bigger picture while deep diving into the numbers and administrative work behind the scenes? And can you set the direction for a team? Then this position might be the right one for you!


At Accenture in Denmark, we are almost 700 employees delivering complex projects every day. To back up this work, we have a strong back bone corporate function, including Customer Experience for hospitality. You will establish and head up a team of 5 dedicated members, whose responsibility it is to welcome people to Accenture, host the reception, meetings and events, in our offices and outside, onsite as well as virtual. 


The roles in the team are specialized, but our workflow is liquid, enabling us to harvest synergies between our tasks, and each team member plays an important part in ensuring what we call hyper personalized services. As our new team lead, you will be driving both the front- and back-office processes within the team. This includes leading and motivating team members, as well as liaising with the Nordic lead and local stakeholders. You will be responsible for establishing a close cooperation with our own restaurant chef, and for identifying relevant preferred external suppliers. As an important part of your role, you will lead your team in an environment of sharing, ideation, delegation and growth. 


In 2019, we will be moving to new premises in Carlsbergbyen, which gives you the unique chance to explore and develop the hospitality vision and execution for this office from scratch! In more detail, you will:


  • Establish and develop the Danish team and serve as their mentor for day-to-day tasks
  • Bring new ideas to Accenture and develop the processes we have today 
  • Handle administrative processes, such as budgeting and vendor management
  • Plan and execute internal and external events together with your team members 


Are you the one we are looking for? 


  • You dedicated your career with providing the best service to your customers. This could be within the hospitality sector, such as Restaurants and Hotels, or within the corporate sector.
  • Ideally, you have line management experience, or the desire to take on a leadership role as the next step in your career.
  • You are confident working with the business side of hospitality, which includes analytical and administrative tasks.
  • You still want to be in the first row of customer interaction, e.g. when welcoming guests. 
  • You know how to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, ever changing environment. 
  • You speak and write fluent English and Danish.
  • You come with either a relevant university degree or a formal training within the hospitality sector.
  • You have an open mindset and are at ease with engaging in challenging situations to find solutions.
