Senior Manager Supply Chain Planning (Natural Resources)
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Senior Manager in Supply Chain Planning, you will lead transformation workstreams for clients in the natural resources sector (mining, pulp & paper, chemicals), owning client relationships, shaping the overall solution, and ensuring delivery of measurable business impact.
- Lead and own end-to-end Planning transformation engagements, managing scope, timeline, budget, and risk;
- Serve as the primary client relationship owner at senior/executive levels, translating business challenges into structured problem statements and delivery plans;
- Direct diagnostics of planning maturity and build the business case for change, quantifying value pools;
- Define target operating models, governance structures, and implementation roadmaps tailored to commodity-driven, capital-intensive operations;
- Oversee the development of complex analyses and scenario models to support high-stakes business decisions (e.g., capacity allocation, production mix, export/logistics trade-offs);
- Lead executive workshops and steering committee presentations, driving alignment and decision-making among senior stakeholders;
- Guide digital transformation initiatives and Advanced Planning System (APS) implementations, ensuring technical solutions are grounded in industry-specific operational realities;
- Manage and develop project teams, including junior/mid-level consultants, ensuring quality of delivery and knowledge transfer to the client;
- Contribute to account growth by identifying follow-on opportunities and supporting business development within the client relationship.

- Track record of leading complex, multi-workstream projects and managing senior client stakeholders, including C-level executives;
- Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems, oversee data-driven analysis, and develop actionable, business-grounded recommendations;
- Experience managing and mentoring project teams;
- Advanced English required for global project delivery; Portuguese and/or Spanish strongly preferred given the regional context of the engagement.
