Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business system components. This role requires dynamic problem-solving to ensure smooth operation and minimal disruption. The engineer collaborates with different teams to identify root causes and implements effective solutions, maintaining system reliability and performance throughout the day.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and resolve incidents efficiently.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Continuously improve support processes to increase team productivity and service quality.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in DevOps.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Linux Operations.
- Strong knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting to streamline operational tasks.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues in distributed environments.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration platforms.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in DevOps.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
