Job Description
We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Manager (Release Train Engineer) to join our dynamic Technology Resources practice in Brussels and take a major role into a flagship project leading the energy transition in Belgium.
As an IT Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of IT projects, ensuring high-quality results and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strong background in delivering IT projects, especially those featuring a high degree of custom development on IT platforms spanning multiple functional domains and employing diverse technologies. Experience working with offshore teams, specifically in India, is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and facilitate the planning, execution, and delivery of releases across different scrum teams within project milestones.
- Collaborate closely with local and offshore teams, fostering effective communication, coordination, and collaboration.
- Act as a bridge between the teams, product owners/manager, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding of project goals and priorities.
- Facilitate agile ceremonies, together with the different scrum masters, including release planning, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and issues across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Monitor release progress, track key metrics, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, promoting best practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a strong ability to maintain composure while meeting tight deadlines and handling challenging situations with efficiency and professionalism.
In addition to client work, you will actively contribute to the Technology Resources community.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager / Release Train Engineer or similar role in delivering large-scale IT projects, leveraging multi-stack technologies and spanning multiple functional domains.
- Strong understanding and practical experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or SAFe.
- Track record of effective collaboration with offshore development teams, particularly in India.
- Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills to empower teams and drive results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills fostering collaboration and building strong relationships.
- Curious, pro-active and a true team player who works to the best of your abilities and inspires colleagues along the way.
- Perfectly fluent in English, Dutch/French and can express in French/Dutch
- Functional specialization in Utilities and in particular the MIGDGO/MIG6 is a plus
